Know Before You Go is dedicated to educating families on how to be safe in and around the water. This initiative is funded through the generous contributions from our partners as well as the community. We would like to encourage you to join the cause. Many of our supporters choose to donate money to purchase books that educate families and children concerning water safety awareness. Others contribute life saving equipment such as Coast Guard approved Life Jackets that are provided to children 
throughout the summer.

Have your child’s swimming skills tested at your local YMCA.

Watch & Guard
Appoint an adult to supervise all pool activities. Add barriers around your pool.

THROW, DON'T GO
Throw out a flotation device or use a pole to reach a drowning child. Never jump in to save.
